3.8km off the coast of Gouville-sur-Mer stands the Sénéquet lighthouse on the rock of the same name. White with a black-painted base, this lighthouse was built in 1857, initially without a light, in the form of a turret. It was then modified in 1858 to become a lighthouse and went into operation in 1861. At 17 metres high, the light is a fixed light with 3 flashes every 12 seconds. Like many lighthouses in France, it has been automated since 1981 and is an integral part of the Blainville-sur-Mer landscape.

The lighthouse stands proudly on the rocks, guiding ships at sea.

A lone lighthouse stands in the middle of the blue expanse.

A solitary lighthouse watches over the calm waters.
