The castle of Regnéville-sur-Mer

In the story

The medieval castle of Regnéville is built next to the harbor of Regnéville. It was once intended to protect the merchants stopped in the harbor. It was also an important place during the 100 years war and was occupied by the English for about thirty years. It was partially razed in the 17th century during the Wars of Religion. Several owners succeeded one another and allowed the restoration of some parts of the castle, then in 1989 it was bought by the General Council of La Manche.

Every year there is a succession of exhibitions, concerts, animations and summer markets. It is an extraordinary place to discover, with an incredible view of the sea and a special historical atmosphere.
