An archipelago, islands, magnificent landscapes

Located a few miles off our coast, the Chausey archipelago is well known to tourists but also to our region’s inhabitants. You can get there by boat from the Granville ferry terminal. A 45 minute boat ride is required to reach Chausey and enjoy the beautiful coves and beaches that make up the coast of the main island.

A unique archipelago

You don’t need to have a specific reason to go there. For fishing or swimming, Chausey is very pleasant, and it is said that a microclimate reigns on the archipelago and that it is warmer there than on the mainland.

You can go stand-up paddleboarding, hiking or rambling, … and this protected natural area is full of unusual fauna and flora that you will discover during your walks between the old fishermen’s houses made of local stone and the isolated creeks.

An ideal place for a couple’s or family getaway, you can all find your own little moment of happiness and share sweet moments.

    A little haven of peace, I love going to Chausey to recharge my batteries. I go there of course to admire the landscapes and take a break because it’s a real change of scenery, but especially to take beautiful pictures for my instagram account.

      A real El Dorado for fishermen, it is a special place to go fishing at low tide when the dozens of islets that make up the archipelago are visible!

      Many tourists and people from the Manche go there for an often miraculous fishing trip.

      You can admire the fauna, the flora, the semaphore, the chapel, the village of Blainvillais, the numerous creeks, the hiking trail, etc.
