Discover Coutances Cathedral with an audioguide

Available for hire at the tourist office all year round, the audioguides will allow you to visit the Cathedral at your own pace, in complete independence and whenever you wish.

The tour presents the architecture, the history and the evolution of the Cathedral in the heart of the tumultuous history of the Coutançais region. Dating from the 13th century and built in the Gothic style, it was designated as a historical monument in 1862.

The audioguide is very easy to use and accessible to all. It looks like a small mobile phone and takes you through 11 stations on a rich and varied tour of this unusual monument.

The audioguide is available in 2 languages: French and English, available all year round at the tourist office for €3.
