From Pirou to Agon-Coutainville, between historical and natural heritage

For this leg, you will set off from Le Passous towards the Pointe d’Agon, which deserves to be your first stopover. Next, head for Heugueville-sur-Sienne and the Pont de la Roque. A great place to watch the tidal bore, you can then return to the harbour, this time on the south side, via the little hamlet of Urville at Regnéville-sur-Mer. Let yourself be charmed by the narrow streets, the stone houses and the tranquillity that emanates from it. On arrival, be sure to visit the ruins of Regnéville-sur-Mer castle and the maritime museum it houses to learn more about the site’s rich history.

To round off this part of the customs trail passing through Coutances mer et bocage, head for Le Havre de la Vanlée, the southernmost harbour on the coast of the same name. In between, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the Hauteville-sur-Mer region and the famous Annoville dunes, a site where sand, herbs and marshes combine to make this place quite simply unique. You’ll then continue on to Lingreville, Bricqueville-sur-Mer and its saltworks, and finally Saint-Martin-de-Bréhal.
