        Nestling in the heart of the Sienne valley, not far from Gavray-sur-Sienne, the village of La Baleine, with its charming little chapel, promises a walk in the peace and quiet of nature. This is an unusual village and a real paradise for walkers.

        There’s a restaurant (Le Krill), a church with an ex-voto (whalebone), a ten-storey calvary dating back to the days of the Newfoundlanders, a magnificent little chapel at the top of the path in the village, quiet footpaths by the river … in short, a real haven of peace and tranquillity. in short, a haven of peace and tranquillity!
